| Different from the Start
Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Supplies Network was incorporated in 1991. Supplies Network Founder and Chairman, Tom Fleming, recognized the need for a Midwestern wholesaler in the rapidly expanding industry of IT consumables. His vision included applying the dealer traditions of excellent personal service and proactive selling into the wholesale arena, adding value for both customers and suppliers.
The company has been successful in attaining the original vision and was recently voted "Best Value-Add Cartridge Reseller" and recognized for outstanding contributions in "Customer Service" by the readers of Recharger Magazine. Supplies Network was also named "Wholesaler of the Year" by two major buying groups for IP Specialists, INTEC and Vision Business Products.
We now represent 70 dominant manufacturers, including: Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, Imation, InfoPrint, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, Katun, OKI, Samsung, TROY and Xerox.
Committed to Independent Dealers
As the industry has changed with consolidation and the growth of new channels, Supplies Network is the only wholesaler entirely focused on independent dealers located in the U.S. and the IT consumables they sell. Other wholesalers concentrate on the giant contract stationers and retailers, broadening product categories, and expanding into global markets.
Strong Growth and Profitability
Since 1991, Supplies Network has evolved into a successful and profitable national wholesaler. Over the years, the company has achieved an impressive double-digit compounded annual growth rate. Our approach to “controlled” growth and sound fiscal management has paid off and has been especially gratifying as the company generated the necessary cash flow to invest in the future. Noted achievements have included: moving into a new headquarters building, implementing major technology initiatives, bolstering our information services and marketing capabilities, continued expansion of regional distribution centers, the recent addition of printers and accessories into our product mix, and the expansion of employee benefits.
Today’s Vision
Our vision is to create a business model, where Supplies Network and independent dealers, will effectively leverage mutual business skills and strengths together. The ultimate goal is to provide superior service and the lowest costs to the consumer. To do this, our combined performance must be better than our giant competitors.
